IR Blog Post 1 - Manufacture Royale debuts $1.2 million Opera accordion watch

-In a time of a weakened economy, some manufacturers decide that it is a great idea to make a $1.2 million accordion watch. Sources state that only about a dozen of them are going on sale in the whole world. Why the high cost? Try 18k gold and sapphire crystals. Really, the only standout feature on the whole watch is the accordion making the time more easily visible. Personally I wouldn't think of this as an extremely expensive watch looking at it for the first time.
-Why do companies produce such a product that only a select few people can actually afford to buy it?
If you so happened to acquire a watch like this, would you even wear it?
-I think that it is absolutely absurd when companies make a product like this and it has to be imposible to get people interested. http://bigboardforum.com/blog/promoting-high-priced-products-on-the-internet/ This blog doesn't exactly support nor refute my claim however, it does give people a way to sell high priced products in a down economy relatively easily. Maybe it is possible that someone will buy one of these.
